Flu Clinic Update - November


If you are aged between 18-64 and are eligible for a flu vaccine (at risk group), please contact the practice to book your flu clinic appt at Owlsmoor surgery for Saturday 9th November. Please note this is not a walk in session.

 Our Home Visits are now carried out by our Paramedic - he will have ID for checking and will arrive in a normal car.  He has full access to your notes and will be communicating with your Named GP.  Please request a Home Visit through Reception as normal.  The Paramedic may  phone to check your symptoms and the emergency beforehand so make sure we have your correct contact details. 


We no longer offer Travel advice & Clinics. You  will need to go to your local Travel Clinic for this advice or go online to a travel Website such as fit-for-travel 


Some larger Chemists also offer Travel Clinics.

At our recent CQC inspection our rating was 'GOOD' in all areas


  You are able to book appointments online and view your medical records as well as order repeat prescriptions to be delivered straight to the chemist of your choice.  Registration is via our prescription page.  For security reasons we ask you to bring into surgery proof of name and address, plus photo ID.

Sandhurst Community and Local Events

Sandhurst Health Walks

Sandhurst Health Walks is a volunteer-led service for residents of Sandhurst. The walks will last between 10-45 minutes. It is free and there is no need to book, just turn up.

When you have finished walking there will be an opportunity to have a tea/coffee at the cafe, so remember to bring some money with you if you would like a drink. Please see below for further details of the two walks we are running this spring / summer.

Walk 1 - Take it to the Bridge

When: Monday to Friday

Time: 09.30hrs

Where: Sandhurst Community Hall

Duration: 45 minutes

Who?

  • This walk is for anyone who can walk unassisted for 40 minutes (walking sticks are ok).
  • Conditions may be muddy in places and appropriate footwear is advised.
  • Coffee/tea stop after the walk

Walk 2 - Steps to Fitness

When: Monday to Friday

Time: 09:30 hrs

Where: Sandhurst Community Hall

Duration: 10-30 minutes

Who?

  • This walk is for those returning to exercise after injury or ill-health.
  • The footpaths are paved in places with some ‘hardcore’ path. Appropriate footwear advised as are walking aids if required.
  • Coffee/tea stop after the walk
