Dr Brown will be retiring after 30 years with Sandhurst Group Practice on June 28th

His Patients will be distributed among the remaining GPs at SGP.  Please go to patient access online services in July 2019 to check who your new GP is and at which site they are located.

 Dr Boardman's named patient list  will be looked after by Dr Tanner with immediate effect and she will officially join us as a Full Time GP week commencing 19th August 2019

 

Our Home Visits are now carried out by our new Paramedic - he will have ID for checking and will arrive in a normal car.  He has full access to your notes and will be communicating with your Named GP.  Please request a Home Visit through Reception as normal.  The Paramedic may  phone to check your symptoms and the emergency beforehand so make sure we have your correct contact details.

We no longer offer Travel advice & Clinics. You  will need to go to your local Travel Clinic for this advice or go online to a travel Website.  Some larger Chemists also offer Travel Clinics.

At our recent CQC inspection our rating was 'GOOD' in all areas

  You are able to book appointments online and view your medical records as well as order repeat prescriptions to be delivered straight to the chemist of your choice.  Registration is via our prescription page.  For security reasons we ask you to bring into surgery proof of name and address, plus photo ID.

Our practice Pharmacists are available to help you with all medication queries

Community Midwives

Our midwives are employed by Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust and run regular ante-natal and post-natal clinics in association with the doctors. They can be contacted via the surgery.

Community Nurses

Our nurses work closely with the doctors and are able to provide treatment at home and advice about care and convalescence after discharge from hospital. They may be contacted via the surgery.

Health Visitors

Our Health Visitors can provide advice and support on your own family’s healthcare. They hold Well Baby Clinics and carry out developmental assessments on children. If you wish to know more about the services they offer please telephone 01344 786920.

Primary Mental Health Care Workers

Primary Mental Health Care Workers offer a service for mild to moderate mental health problems.  Patients are referred via their GP.

Speech Therapist

Our speech therapist offers help to children who are experiencing speech and communication difficulties.  Referrals are made by your GP or patients can attend drop-in clinics.  Information is available in the surgery.

Phlebotomist

The phlebotomist is available daily at both our surgeries to take blood for routine blood tests.  Your GP will refer you to the phlebotomist and supply you with a pathology form indicating the tests they wish performed.

Dietician

Our dietician holds regular clinics and offers help for all patients needing dietary advice and support.  Patients are referred by their GP or the practice nurse.

Podiatrist

Our podiatrist holds clinics at Sandhurst Surgery on Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment.  Referrals are made via your GP or the practice nurse.
